This webcam is run by the Salutation Hotel and Spa in Ambleside. It looks across Rydal Rd and has a view of parts of Loughrigg in the distance above the rooftops. Its a good quality camera and the image responds well to being enlarged.
Despite claiming to be the most popular webcam in the Lake District it has the most time offline of any that I follow. It also displays the date in American format which is annoying.
